Bright Stars Speech Therapy is an independent Speech and Language Therapy practice based in East Lancashire. We offer a flexible, individual and personalised approach for all our clients. We specialise in working with both pre-school and school aged children who have a range of difficulties, including:

  •          attention and listening difficulties.
  •          remembering which words to use and what they mean.

1 in 10 children have a speech and language difficulty. We believe it is vital that these children receive the help and support they need at the earliest possible opportunity. As an independent service we are able to deliver therapy in a timely manner with NO WAITING LISTS which produces positive results. Having trained at Manchester Metropolitan University I qualified as a speech and language therapist in 2000.  I  have since worked in a variety of settings including clinics, nurseries, mainstream and special schools, language SERFs and children's centres, with children from 2 to 18 years. I have extensive experience of working with children who have a speech and language delay / disorder both in the public and independent sectors.

I am a qualified Portage worker and Speech and language therapist. I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2012. Since then I have worked with children aged 0-18 with varying degrees of speech, language and communication needs including Autism, language and speech delays and disorders, selective mutism and dysfluency. I have worked in a variety of setting including special schools, mainstream schools, in the community, speech therapy clinics nurseries and in families homes. I am an enthusiastic speech and language therapist with a passion of working with children.
