Bright Stars Speech Therapy is an independent Speech and Language Therapy practice based in East Lancashire. We offer a flexible, individual and personalised approach for all our clients. We specialise in working with both pre-school and school aged children who have a range of difficulties, including:

  •          unclear speech.
  •          attention and listening difficulties.
  
  •          remembering which words to use and what they mean.
  •          using first words and early sentences.
  
  •          knowing how to use communication in social situations.

1 in 10 children have a speech and language difficulty. We believe it is vital that these children receive the help and support they need at the earliest possible opportunity. As an independent service we are able to deliver therapy in a timely manner with NO WAITING LISTS which produces positive results. Your child will get a truly individual service which is tailored to their own needs.

Having trained at Manchester Metropolitan University I qualified as a speech and language therapist in 2000.  I  have since worked in a variety of settings including clinics, nurseries, mainstream and special schools, language SERFs and children's centres, with children from 2 to 18 years. I have extensive experience of working with children who have a speech and language delay / disorder both in the public and independent sectors.
